ABOUT
Every day CityYouth provides a safe place for Jonesboro's at risk youth to come. We have a tutoring and homework session as well as life-skills development that teaches our youth how to contribute back to the community and how to develop positive lasting relationships. CityYouth provides indoor recreational sports (i.e. basketball, dodgeball, and other activities) as well as hosting the Kids Fitness Boot Camp partnered with Fitness Boot Camp Unlimited. CityYouth has a daily Bible study and devotion in addition to other events designed to equip youth to succeed in every aspect of life.
CityYouth Ministries is a member agency of the United Way of Northeast Arkansas and is committed to working together to help our youth and to build a stronger community. CityYouth offers a positive alternative to the streets for many youth. Lt. Elliot, a spokesman for the F.O.P. and the Jonesboro Police says, "I see a direct link between the decline of the juvenile crime rate and the efforts of CityYouth Ministries." At CityYouth, we are changing the world one child at a time.
