How can my child become a part of the program at CityYouth?
A parent or guardian needs to fill out a Youth Registration
form before their child can participate in CityYouth events.
What are the ages of the children served at CityYouth?
CityYouth serves kids ages 6-18.
Are the parents encouraged to participate at CityYouth?
Yes,
parents are asked to attend a support group and volunteer at least
one hour
per
month.
Does it cost anything to participate in the programs that CityYouth
offers?
No, because of donations from businesses and individuals,
our programs are of no cost to the participants. CityYouth is a member
agency of United Way of Northeast Arkansas.

Can my elementary child be helped with school assignments at CityYouth?
Yes,
on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30p.m. to 4:30p.m., volunteers
will be available at the center to help
with tutoring.
Are students served a meal each day?
Yes, churches, individuals
and civic groups from the community provide a hot meal for the
children on Monday
through Friday
nights. During the school year, supper is served each night at 6:00 p.m.
During the summer, elementary students are served lunch at 1:00 p.m. and
junior and senior high students are served supper at 6:00 p.m.
How late does CityYouth stay open?
CityYouth stays open until 7:00 p.m. during the
school year, 8:00 p.m. in the summer, and 6:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Is CityYouth open on weekends?
CityYouth is open on weekends for special
programs and community events only. Check the upcoming
event page for special events at the center.
